Grilled Honey Lemon Walleye

Grilled walleye or catfish basted with this honey-lemon combination is really good. The recipe is easy to make and pairs well with a side salad.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pound fillets
  • Tony Chachere’s Original Seasoning to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups diced red, green, or yellow bell pepper
  • 1 sliced lemon

Directions

Mix honey and lomon juice, then brush each side of the fillet. Place the fillets on a piece of aluminum foil and sprnkle with Tony Chachere’s seasoning.

Cook the fillets on medium heat for about 6 to 8 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Continue basing teh fillets with teh h0ney-lemon mixture. Again, season lightly just prior to plating the fish.
