Deep Creep is a premium lubricant and penetrating oil. It’s considered the best by many mechanics. It’s petroleum-based, non-corrosive, resists evaporation and doesn’t burn off under extreme heat.
For sportsmen, it’s not only handy in the shop, but it’s also one of the best gun oils available. Use it to clean your gun, but spray some on a rag and keep it in a Ziploc for hunting to lightly oil the gun in the field.
Deep Creep crawls along metal surfaces. It’s ideal for fishing reels. Just adding a drop to a squeaky for dry reel bearing, it won’t evaporate and you’ll have a smooth quiet reel for a long time.
Outboard owners swear by it as a fogging oil and protectant. Just pull the plugs, spray in some Deep Creep, turn it over a couple times and the cylinder cavities are protected from corrosion over long periods of storage.
“We’ve worked with Sea Foam for years and have used all of their products. I use Deep Creep for squeaky reels. It’s a relatively lightweight oil and does a great job smoothing things out, and it seems like it’s a one-and-done deal. It doesn’t evaporate, and the reel stays smooth and quiet forever.” Says Jeremy Smith:
“However, fishing reels are one thing. Big machinery is another. My brother-in-law is a farmer. One day, we swung by the farm to visit his dad, Dave. Dave was wrestling with a seized-up auger. I had a can in the truck and offered it to him.
He promptly responded with, ‘Now what the hell is this, some city slicker lube?’ But he tried it. Gave it a minute and got loose. He was super impressed and that’s what he uses on the farm now.”
Deep Creep is just one of those products, you find yourself using for a ton of things. Keep in in your boat, shop and truck and there will be times you’re really glad you have it.
