Scentsation Tube

Scentsation tube

Tubes are one of the long-standing greats in the smallmouth world. Recently, tubes have become more refined with specialized color and subtle differences in shape and size. Some anglers seem to have forgotten how effective they can be for bass, especially when they are feeding on the bottom.

Spend a little time soaking the Scentsation Tube, and you’ll be quickly reminded why this is such a deadly bait for smallmouth. It’s an excellent crawfish imitation and versatile with so many rigging options. One of our favorite ways to present the tube is with an internal jig head.

Rigging it this way makes the bait glide on the fall and has an unpredictable motion when hopped off the bottom. The Scentsation Tube is the perfect profile for smallmouth at 3.5 inches and slightly wider than many other tubes this size.

Jeremys Smith says, “Scent is really the last consideration for me. But often, for walleyes, bluegills and smallmouth, it can be a big deal when they are in a bad mood. When you open a pack of these baits, you’ll immediately notice the smell and fish like that smell. If smallmouth are spending time investigating a bait but not eating in, this will seal the deal. When they get close to it, their attitude changes and they just vacuum it up off the bottom.”

Scentsation Tubes arrive in an eight-pack with eight killer colors. They are baits you’ll wanna have in the boat this season.
