The Word of God talks a lot about Grace and mercy.
At the end of many of the books in the new testament, the writer closed it saying something like, The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all, Amen.”
What is Grace?
Grace is God’s favor on your life.
He has unconditional love for you.
Everything you’ve done, all of the stupid things we’ve done in the past— and boy, we’ve done them, and some of us continue to struggle today. Things we wish we never did and could relive and make different decisions.
Even after all that, God’s unconditional love is always there.
And when we come to him with a heartfelt, “I’m sorry Lord, forgive me, this was a dumb thing.”
His word says it goes from the east to the west.
He forgets it.
It’s done.
It comes under the heading of Grace.
Favor in God’s eyes on your life.
Quite a few years ago when I read that I could have favor in God’s eyes.
There are times that I know that I could come before the throne-like the Word of God.
I have reverential fear for the Lord.
It’s not the kind of fear you have when you hear the word fear. It’s respectful fear.
I don’t want to make him mad. I want him to be proud of me. I want his blessings on my life. I don’t want to be out from under his hand. When you realize that God’s Grace is available to you, it changes how you think and how you communicate with him.
God loves you. He cares about you. He wants to hear you talk to him from your heart. He hears this when it’s in line with his word and plan for your life.
Then we all got a plan that’s in line with his word. If we can follow through, he’s got a plan for our life. When we get it right, it is fulfilled, it’s answered, and life is worth living. I had to share that a little bit with you.
I think everybody would love to know that they have God’s blessing, don’t you?
