Al Lindner, a long-time supporter of In Touch Ministry, recently shared a daily devotion from the ministry’s leader, Charles Stanley, and why we are wonderfully made. In this devotion, Stanley talks about how God has a unique plan for each of us and how our fingerprints are a reminder of how much God cares for us.
Uniquely Created
Each of us is born with a certain arrangement of arches, loops, and whirls on our hands that don’t change as we grow or age. Out of the roughly 8 billion people on earth, no two of us have the same fingerprint. We’ve each been uniquely created by God and he has a singular plan for every life.
In God’s eyes, there is no such thing as a non-valuable person. He loves every single one of us equally and is personally involved in seeing his plans for our lives come to fulfillment. In fact, it brings him joy to do so.
Consider What
Instead of comparing yourself to others or feeling inconsequential, look at the intricacy of your fingerprints and remember you are a one of a kind and well-loved by the Creator God who brought you into being.
Take some time to consider what God has planned for your life. Sit down with him in prayer and ask for guidance and clarification to get on the right track.
God is a loving and caring God who has something for each of us. If you’re going through a hard time right now, remember that God loves you and created you for a special purpose. You are a one of a kind with God-given talents that nobody else has. Take some time to speak to someone about the things that God has done in your life and share it with somebody else.
Conclusion
God is a loving and caring God who has something for each of us. We are each uniquely created with a special purpose and God-given talents that nobody else has. Take some time to consider what God has planned for your life and speak to someone about the things that God has done in your life.
